The Air Training Corps is a popular uniformed youth organisation for young men and women aged 13 - 20, and for adult staff over 20.

Squadron Profile

Beccles is a small town in the East Anglia on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk.  We are a successful unit of around 40 cadets, providing activities such as flying, gliding, wild country expeditions, climbing, sports, canoeing, visits to places of interest, and also fun visits like Alton Towers.

We are one of 29 squadrons which make up Norfolk & Suffolk Wing, and we are pleased to have been nominated as the best unit in the Wing five times in the last nine years, gaining the prestigious title of best Squadron in Central & East Region (and therefore one of the top six in the Corps) in 2000.

We parade Friday evenings from 7pm - 10pm and run other activities as required on a Monday, including shooting, drill practices and competitions.

I'm interested in joining as a cadet

I'm interested in becoming an Adult Volunteer (20 years +)
