Annual Camp

Every year each Squadron will be offered places on either a Summer or Easter camp held at an RAF station around the UK.

While on camp cadets live as RAF personnel, using the Junior Ranks mess and participating in visits to various sections on station as well as all the usual ATC activities including shooting, sport, drill, flying and swimming to name a few.  Sometime gliding will be available, and on some station flights may be given in operational RAF aircraft.

In recent years Beccles cadets have flown in the Hercules transporter, the Chinook helicopter and almost got a flight in a WW2 Dakota.

For the older cadets, overseas camps are available at RAF Gibraltar and Cyprus, as well as camps at former RAF station, Bruggen, in Germany and to USAF Ramstein.  If you are 15 years old, have passed Leading cadet exam and have been to a UK camp this is an opportunity for you!
